Race Course Badges

By adopting new innovative designs and high tech printing techniques racing specialists P4 Marketing have developed a new range of racecourse badges that reduce costs and provide a wide range of additional features including bar codes, full colour, sponsors logos and photo badges.The badges are suitable for all enclosures, Day Members, Owners, Trainers, Complementaries and Annual Members. They can also be used for racecourse staff, contractors and as car park passes. These badges are being introduced at a number of UK racecourses have helped save many thousands of pounds.

The current range available includes the following types;

• Classic Badges - Embossed card, individually numbered with strings as standard. These badges are a direct substitute for the traditional badge designs but are usually provided at lower cost.
• Sponsor Badges - Full colour, any shape and double sided to incorporate advertisements, racecourse images and sponsors logos. These badges can be provided in mixed print runs so that badges for a given meeting can include common information (date, meeting, number etc) but with different sponsor logos & messages enabling up to six different sponsors to have some exposure on that meeting's badges. This sponsor exposure can be sold to generate additional revenue or presented as a part of a wider added value to sponsors.
• Owners & Trainers - For feature races and premier meetings special badges can be produced to incorporate owners racing colours, trainers' livery or sponsor logos.
• Access Badges - Enhanced security provided by individually printing badges with their own bar code and/or photos of the badge holder. Bar codes can be fully integrated into bar code access systems& turnstiles. These badges can be used for members, staff and contractors to ensure controlled access for regular racecourse users. Similarly vehicle registrations could be added to car park passes.

All the badges can also be provided on man made materials to increase durability, reduce weather damage and reduce costs further. To provide additional flexibility orders can be printed and delivered to all UK courses within a few days notice to meet changing order sizes or revised sponsor requirements.

Racecards

We are now into our fourth year of providing racecard printing, brochure production and marketing services to racecourses.

Using our own design/graphic, print and marketing expertise we work with racecourses to provide a finished product that is respected and valued by racegoers, race sponsors and the industry.

We have developed our own software programmes to enable us to produce racecards in a format and quality that is demanded by racegoers and unique to the racecourse whilst at the same time satisfying the courses corporate needs.

We provide a service to meet all requirements, our own extensive database of racehorse owners colours allow us to offer full colour production, as well as two or single colour print options.

Form Comments for each runner

Form comments are expected in all racecards by racegoers. We offer a range of styles that can be incorporated into your racecards to suit your requirements.

We can provide both basic and chatty form comments to suit your needs as well as those of your customers. The content of which has been developed by the opinions of our team of experts and the requirements of racegoers whom we have surveyed on course.

The form comments focus on the horse, current form, career summary, winning distances, course performance and going factors. Don't worry if the horse is making its racecourse debut, whether a 'maiden' 'novice' or 'bumper' race, we will advise on its breeding, related winners and also look at the stables 'form'.

Racecard Covers

Racecard covers can be designed, printed and finished to suit your corporate requirements and those of your sponsors in any format.

We provide a service to produce and deliver covers to other racecard printers to their specifications - at cost effective prices.

We are pleased to liase with and accept finished covers direct from race sponsors, it is our policy not to charge a fee for stitching on to the main body of the racecard.

Trackfacts is a popular racecourse feature. We can provide a full page of interesting facts relevant to your raceday that can influence punters decisions. These would include a racecourse map, course characteristics, details of those trainers and jockeys whom are course specialists and those who are currently in form, details of the longest travellers and some intriguing snippets for a racegoer to digest.

Added Value

Our experienced marketing team will provide ideas and solutions to 'add value' to your racecards to benefit both the racecourse and the punter.

We can assist with data capture, racecard competitions, 'bounce backs.' back to back fixtures and racecourse service promotions.

Our aim is to provide you with a cost effective profit making racecard product.

Course to Course Coverage

We are able to offer many styles of Course to Course formats.

• Course to Course advertisements, these are ideal if you have limited space available in your racecard and can be designed to be used as a filler in differing sizes. A cost effective method of promoting the away betting.
• A full page format can be supplied featuring one or two of the away meetings. This is limited to horse name, saddle cloth number, weight and our nap!
• An extended full page format featuring the other main meeting of the day is available. This includes horse name, saddlecloth number, weight, trainer, jockey, form figures and betting forecasts.

There are occasions when you may wish to feature one specific race i.e. a Group or Listed Race, a major handicap or a jump Pattern Race. On other occasions you may wish to interleave a full away race meeting, both of these options can be supplied. To avoid potential confusion the away meeting or specific race can be highlighted in differing colour paper stock or ink.
